Specific objective

The specific objective of this project is to favour students mobility between Universities in the European Union and the US. This will be realized through an innovative exchange program of graduate students across the Atlantic. The exchange of students has multiple innovative goals:
  • to promote the excellence in mathematical training. Universities of the consortium have complementary scientific skills, and this projects can be made available to students in mobility the best courses of any participating Universities;
  • to promote portability and mutual recognition of qualifications and periods of study and training, and equivalence of credits.
A partnership involving University of Bologna, University Autonoma de Madrid, University of Paris VII - Denis Diderot, University of Rennes 1, University of Arkansas, University of Pittsburgh and Temple University will provide a one-semester study abroad program.


The activities in the program are:
  • graduate student mobility;
  • teaching staff mobility;
  • teaching material;
  • dissemination of major findings.
